VFW Post 7842 Auxiliary celebrates 70 years of service.

The Auxiliary of VFW Post 7842 celebrates the 70th anniversary of its charter at a reception at the post home. In attendance to honor Charter Member Carol Huffman was State Senator Michele Brooks and State Representative Parke Wentling.

POST 7842 HONORS CHARTER MEMBER SHYRL HOOD ON VETERANS DAY.

Chartered on August 25, 1946 as Linesville VFW Post 7842, the Post was honored to recognize Charter Member and Life Member Shyrl Hood, pictured with his wife Lois along with the original charter, during the annual Veterans Day banquet. Surrounded by his family, Mr. Hood was presented a service award by State Representative Parke Wentling for his 71 years of service

DONATE TO THE VFW EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND THROUGH POST 7842 AND WE’LL MATCH IT!

The Officers and Members of the Linesville VFW Post 7842 would encourage you to donate, through our Post, to the National VFW Emergency Relief Fund. The National office of the VFW will then direct 100% of the money donated to Veterans affected by the recent string of natural disasters.

Post 7842 will match all donations up to a total of $5000.

VFW POST 7842 HOSTS DEPARTMENT OFFICERS

Department of Pennsylvania Commander Dwight Fuhrman accompanied by Senior Vice Commander Ace Hanzes, Jr Vice Commander Wayne Perry, Adjutant/Quartermaster John Getz, and Chief of Staff John Brenner enjoy a boat trip on Conneaut Lake with Troy and Tammi Hinderliter followed by a reception at the Post Home.
